Leveraging MVN’s expertise in high-performance building systems, this 48,000 SF, eight-story multifamily development with 35 residential units was equipped with mechanical and electrical infrastructure designed for comfort, efficiency, and long-term reliability. The result is a well-balanced living environment that supports individual privacy, shared amenities, and code-compliant performance across all levels.
Mechanical Design
Split systems were installed for heating and cooling in all units, while common areas such as retail, lobbies, and service rooms were served by dedicated systems. Corridor ventilation was provided through supply fans with a central relief fan on the roof. Exhaust systems were designed for the garage, retail kitchens, recycling, bicycle storage, and trash rooms, with rooftop terminations coordinated for proper airflow and aesthetics.
Electrical Design
Electrical systems ensured reliable distribution across units and common spaces. Lighting was designed with photometric support for normal and emergency conditions, paired with code-compliant controls for efficiency. Outlets and circuits were provided for appliances, HVAC, and building systems, with pathways included for telecom and data connectivity.
