MVN’s technical expertise and commitment to quality shaped the design of this 6,900 SF facility, consisting of two kitchens and adjoining dining areas. The mechanical systems were engineered not only to meet functional requirements but also to create a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for both food preparation and dining. The infrastructure supports operational reliability, occupant comfort, and compliance with performance standards, ensuring long-term sustainability.
Mechanical Design
Each kitchen was equipped with a utility fan connected to grease exhaust ductwork for effective removal of heat, grease, and cooking byproducts, DX make-up air units were provided to deliver balanced ventilation and maintain indoor air quality, and a rooftop unit was installed to serve both dining and kitchen areas, supplying reliable conditioning across shared seating and food preparation spaces. The integrated system design balanced exhaust, ventilation, and conditioning strategies to achieve code compliance, operational resilience, and long-term sustainability.
