With MVN’s system integration expertise, this 5,000 SF tenant improvement project was designed to expand endoscopy services by incorporating a major laboratory area while meeting performance, comfort, and compliance requirements. The design approach emphasized efficiency, reliability, and acoustic considerations to ensure a functional environment that supports both clinical operations and patient care.
Mechanical Design
The mechanical strategy focused on reusing existing systems wherever feasible to maintain cost efficiency and minimize disruption. New VAV boxes were provided and integrated as required by the revised layout, ensuring proper zoning, airflow distribution, and comfort across the lab, procedure rooms, and support areas. This approach preserved system integrity while adapting to the specialized needs of endoscopy operations.
Electrical Design
Electrical improvements were designed to prioritize power delivery for process equipment critical to endoscopy and laboratory functions. New lighting was installed to enhance visibility, safety, and energy efficiency, while additional power infrastructure was provided to support specialized medical equipment and staff workstations. The design ensures flexibility and compliance with healthcare electrical standards
Plumbing Design
Plumbing work was limited to the installation of a handsink to support laboratory and clinical functions. The design maintained efficiency by leveraging existing infrastructure while ensuring compliance with healthcare plumbing requirements.
